Week 1 of this year’s Athletes Unlimited season is in the books. Check out my Week 0 post to update yourself on what the league looks like this year and for a link to an explanation behind the unique format of the link.
I was fortunate enough to have a good draft as the facilitator for Purple in Week 1 and put together a nice team behind multi-year AU standout (and 2022 Champion) Betty De La Cruz, and we went 3-0. Because the other 3 teams all split with each other, the win points for players on Purple really stacked up. It’s something worth noting when people talk about the individual scoring system, because after Week 1:
All 4 Captains for Week 2 came from the Purple team.
8 of the top 10 players on the current leaderboard were on Purple in Week 1.
All 11 players are in the top-21 of the 44-player leaderboard.
So it pays to win! As it should.

The Big Triangle Sheet
Here’s the sheet I use to view The Triangle and the other major components that go into winning and losing. The right side of this sheet is also my main in-match information, besides individual player statistics.
