This Monday, I did a small-group workshop with premium subscribers on the topic of Rotation and Matchups. I subtitle this, “Small Gains, For Free,” because adjusting your starting rotation or finding better matchups aren’t usually the biggest determining factor. They aren’t 10-point swings in a game. Fundamental skills and good systems are more important. But… it doesn’t take any skill or training time to start in Rotation 2 vs Rotation 3. Etc. So they are small gains, but a little time with pencil and paper can sometimes give you a little edge almost for “free.” And we like free here at Smarter Volley!
