At the end of this post I’ll unpack some beginner-to-advanced defensive concepts and why I answer the ever-present question of, “how do I get my kids to stop running with their arms together on defense,” with a shrug.

Is this a perfect breakdown of every intricacy of this team’s passing system? Nope. Does it provide a quick visual to back up a concept that this coach has been discussing at practice? Yep! Can a player watch this (a couple times) in 2 minutes right before practice and be ready for the “20” discussion? Yep!
