No studies to my knowledge. I would say the answer almost has to be yes, but I can't prove it.
There's plenty of male spiker servers who have played in the "radar era" where VolleyballWorld broadcasts spike velocity on a lot of jump-serves. It would be interested to take maybe the 2021 or 2022 VNLs and record the 5 fastest serves from 10 or 20 different plaeyrs and then maybe compare to the upcoming 2026 or 2027 VNL and compare if their velocities changed in 5 years.
