Any chance you'd do some online coaching seminar for those of us who don't have programs or the financial ability to pay for an in person visit? Live or On Demand?

Actually that's something I'm working on now! The on-court stuff can be difficult to fully get into a webinar but I'm working on translating the classroom portions into either pre-recorded bits or slideshows for webinar presentations. I'm not planning on charging any extra for those, just as a monthly or bi-monthly premium subscriber webinar like I've done in the past.

Some have asked specifically about paying for online consults. It's something I've done in the past here or there as a 1-off -> watched a match/practice video and then gotten on a call and talked about some recommendations, etc. I want to get something like that setup, I just want to systematize it so I make sure I'm not biting off more than I can chew.

I'd be 100% in on the offensive seminar

Stay tuned for this Sunday. It will only be an hour, so I'll just show a couple concepts from this seminar, but I'll be working on expanding that out to a full online seminar.

Can you tell me more about Scrape, Pop, and Wheel counter-routes?

These are all counters to specific blocking adjustments such as pinching the wing blockers or fronting with a middle blocker. I run all my middles (semi)pre-determined, meaning I don't train middles to get up in the air, see the block, and then decide what to do.

The middle is taking a route and the setter is setting the ball to hit a specific angle. They can alter their shot, but it's more knowing the specific counters to how the blockers are playing you.

So we have a "Push" call and a "Wheel" call that looks almost exactly the same, but the middle is going to open up slightly differently and the setter is going to set the ball slightly differently, which opens up a different shot.
